Andy Duncan, CEO – Travelopia
Appointed as the new CEO of Travelopia in March 2018. A transformational CEO who has delivered significant growth, market leadership and strategic change in a variety of industries and sectors, including both purely commercial, and commercially orientated public purpose companies. Prior CEO roles include Channel 4, H R Owen, and Camelot, as well as Board Director experience at the BBC and Unilever, and being the first ever Chair for Freeview. Over 33 years working in ‘World Class’ organisations, including significant international experience.
In addition significant Non-Executive experience with both Commercial and Public purpose organisations, including current role as President of the Advertising Association since 2014, and being Chair of the Media Trust from 2006 – 2014, as well as being a NED for HMV Group, and many other Trustee roles including Children in Need.
Married for over 30 years with 2 daughters. Passionate about all sports, film and music.
Martin Froggatt, Managing Director Expeditions, Education & Events – Travelopia
Martin has been with TUI Travel PLC for more than 10 years, starting out as Vice President of Operations for Europe Express in 2006. He subsequently became President of Europe Express, and then Managing Director of the North American Specialist and Activity division based in Seattle. Since January 2013, Martin has been Managing Director of the North American Specialist, Education and Sport Divisions. Here, he has been managing four portfolios of SME, consisting of 48 individual businesses based in Europe, USA and Australia.
Prior to TUI Travel PLC, Martin had a wealth of experience in the industry as Sales Director at First Choice, as well as Manager for Sales at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. He started his career in travel at 26, working as a ski and holiday rep.
Martin lives in Guildford with his wife and 3 children, he is a keen cyclist, family taxi and enthusiastic skier.

Christine Franks, M&A Director – Travelopia
Christine qualified as a Chartered Accountant in Canada and transferred with PwC from Toronto to London in 1998. Following a short spell in the Assurance practice, she joined PwC’s Corporate Finance team, advising on primarily mid-market Consumer transactions.
Christine moved ‘in-house’ to join the Group M&A team at First Choice in 2005, where she worked on numerous acquisitions and disposals, up to and following the merger in 2007 with TUI, to form TUI Travel PLC. In 2009, Christine moved to the Specialist & Activity Sector of TUI Travel PLC in a commercial finance and M&A role, before becoming Business Development Director in 2010. As Business Development Director Christine was responsible for coordinating the Sector’s annual strategic planning process, driving any M&A activity undertaken by the Sector and leading any ad-hoc strategic projects. In 2013, Christine returned to a Group M&A role, when she was promoted to Head of M&A for TUI Travel PLC. Christine continued in a Group M&A role for TUI Group until 2017.
As Travelopia’s M&A Director, Christine is responsible for leading all corporate activity undertaken by Travelopia, including acquisitions, disposals or joint ventures.
Christine lives in Weybridge with her husband and two children and spends her weekends watching her children play sport.
Dominic Binefa, Chief Financial Officer – Travelopia
Dominic joined what is now Travelopia in 2010, back when it was the Specialist & Activity Sector of TUI Travel PLC. In his time with Travelopia he’s always held central Finance roles although he was the FD for the Adventure Division from 2015-2016. He was appointed as FD of Travelopia in October 2016. Prior to joining Travelopia, Dom was at PwC, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant and worked for their Assurance – South East practice. Prior to PwC Dom also worked for Iberia Airlines in Madrid for a year.
Dom enjoys photography and at home always has a DIY or restoration project on the go. He’s also often seen on stage, acting and singing with a local theatre group. Currently however, he spends more time singing to his two young daughters than anyone else.
Rebecca Osman, Commercial Director – Travelopia
Rebecca (“Bex”) started her career at BDO where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2006, worked in Hong Kong and also gained experience in corporate finance, business restructuring and recovery. In February 2011 she joined TUI Travel PLC in the Specialist and Activity Sector’s M&A Strategy team, where she helped to build the portfolio we have today. Since then she has held various business development, financial & commercial roles within the Group and in December 2016 she was appointed Commercial Director of Travelopia.
Bex is a keen wildlife and sports addict and loves learning Taekwondo, going on safaris & seeing nature in its natural environment, playing golf, supporting the best football and rugby teams – Arsenal (she’s stuck in the 2003/04 season!) and Saracens and walking her two retriever pups in the countryside.
Janet Northey, General Counsel & Company Secretary – Travelopia
Janet joined First Choice more than 20 years ago and initially worked in and then managed the Consumer Legal Team focussing on litigation. Just prior to the merger between First Choice and the tourism division of TUI AG Janet moved into a legal commercial role and after the merger became Senior Legal Adviser to the Activity Sector and then General Counsel for the expanded Travelopia Group which was known at the time as the Specialist and Activity Sector. Since 2015, Janet’s area of responsibility has grown to include Legal Compliance, Company Secretarial, Insurance and HR.
Janet lives in Croydon with her husband and dogs and enjoys walking, cycling, listening to live music and the occasional session of yoga.
